How the daily jigsaw works
It's a daily puzzle in the spirit of a crossword or a word game: one puzzle, one day, one number. Puzzle #1 was Monday, October 19, 2026, and the count goes up by one every day.
- Look at the box lidYou get five seconds with the whole picture before the pieces burst onto the table.
- Solve against the clockThe clock starts when the last piece settles and stops on the join that makes every piece one group. Pieces only lock when they truly fit, like real cardboard.
- Post one ranked timeYour first solve goes on the worldwide board, with a marker for your device (iPhone, iPad or Duo). Replays are welcome but aren't ranked.
- Share without spoilersYour share card is one line and a 6 by 8 mosaic shaded by when you placed each piece, so friends see your path, not the picture.

Is the daily jigsaw free?
Yes. The Daily Rally and the Weekly Rally are free for everyone, forever, with no ads. Jigsaw Rally Pro ($3.99 a month or $24.99 a year in the US) adds Custom Races, leagues, ranked packs and the full Leisure library, but never puts the daily behind a paywall.
What time does the new daily puzzle come out?
Every day at 08:00 UTC, the same moment worldwide. In winter that's midnight in Los Angeles, 3 a.m. in New York and 8 a.m. in London; add an hour in summer.
How many pieces is the daily jigsaw?
48 pieces, cut 6 by 8 on a 3:4 picture. It's sized to be a quick sprint, usually a few minutes. The Weekly Rally is the long one, at 192 pieces.
Can I replay the daily puzzle?
Yes, as often as you like, but only your first solve is ranked. Missed a day? The last 3 days are free in the Archive, and Pro opens every past puzzle. Archive plays are practice.
Is there a daily jigsaw on Android or the web?
Not yet. Jigsaw Rally is on iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad. You can follow each day's results on the web at jigsawrally.com/daily.
What are the daily themes?
Monday is animals, Tuesday food and color, Wednesday places, Thursday landscapes, Friday illustrated scenes, Saturday macro and Sunday classic art. Puzzles get a little harder from Monday to Saturday, like a crossword.
