01Accepting these terms

Jigsaw Rally, its puzzles, leaderboards, races, leagues and related services (the "Service") are provided by Amphora LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf and supervise your use of features such as Custom Races.

02The game

Jigsaw Rally offers a ranked Daily Rally and Weekly Rally, Leisure puzzles, and, for Pro members, Custom Races, Custom Leagues, ranked packs, the Archive and cosmetics. You can play without an account. To appear on the leaderboards you pick a board name and avatar, which needs iCloud. Game Center is optional, for the Friends boards. Board names follow the community rules below.

We may add, change or remove features, puzzles and packs over time. Once a ranked puzzle has gone live, we don't edit it; if one has a problem we may retire it instead.

03Fair play

Leaderboards only mean something if everyone plays the same puzzle the same way. You agree not to:

• modify, tamper with or reverse engineer the app, or use bots, scripts or other tools to solve puzzles or submit times;
• submit times you didn't earn, or play on someone else's iCloud or Game Center account;
• exploit bugs to gain an advantage (please tell us about them instead); or
• share or publish the image or solution of a live ranked puzzle before it resets.

The app checks every solve before it's ranked. We may hold back, remove or mark any time we believe is implausible, and we may restrict ranked play for anyone who breaks these rules. Leaderboard positions and percentiles are for fun and have no monetary value.

04Pro and purchases

Subscriptions

Jigsaw Rally Pro is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and term unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in iOS Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

Packs

Leisure packs can also be bought one at a time. A purchased pack is yours to play for as long as the Service offers it, and can be restored on your other devices signed in to the same Apple account. Buying a Leisure pack doesn't unlock a ranked pack.

Prices and refunds

Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country. We may change prices for future periods; Apple will tell you before a subscription price increase takes effect. All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Pro never buys rank. Free and Pro players share the same leaderboards.

05Your photos

When you create a Custom Race or League, you may upload a photo ("your content"). You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, resize, cut into puzzle pieces and display your content to the people you invite, and to people they share the invite with, only for the purpose of running the Service. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service.

You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it, and that anyone recognizable in it is happy for it to be shared this way.

06Community rules

Don't upload or share content that:

• is sexually explicit, violent or graphic, or sexualizes minors in any way;
• harasses, bullies, threatens or demeans anyone, or promotes hate based on who people are;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• contains private information about someone without their consent; or
• is illegal, or encourages illegal activity.

Custom Race and League names must follow the same rules. You can report races and block players in the app. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users, and we act on reports within 24 hours by removing the content and the account's access to the feature. We may remove content and suspend features for anyone who breaks these rules. Copyright complaints follow our Copyright and DMCA policy.

07Our content

The app, its puzzle images (other than your own), designs, sounds, the Jigsaw Rally name and logo, and this website belong to Amphora LLC or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may share your own results and share cards. Don't copy, redistribute or sell our puzzles or images, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Some puzzle images are in the public domain or licensed from third parties, and those sources keep their own rights.

08Availability

The Service depends on Apple services such as Game Center, CloudKit and the App Store. We work to keep it running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free or that any particular puzzle or feature will continue to be offered. Daily and weekly puzzles reset at 08:00 UTC; a missed puzzle can be played later from the Archive where your plan allows.

09Termination

You can stop using Jigsaw Rally at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription. We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Service if you break these terms, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue the Service as a whole, we'll give reasonable notice in the app where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licenses you've granted for existing races, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) survive termination.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Amphora LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits or lost streaks, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.

12Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Amphora LLC from claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve it informally.

Class action waiver: to the extent the law allows, any dispute will be brought individually and not as a class, collective or representative action.

14Apple

These terms are between you and Amphora LLC, not Apple. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app; where it conflicts with these terms, these terms apply to the extent permitted. In addition:

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims.
• Apple is not responsible for any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
• You confirm you're not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and aren't on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

15Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
