- Start a Custom RaceIn the Races tab, start a new Custom Race.
- Pick and crop a photoChoose any photo from your library and crop it to the 3:4 frame. Location and other metadata are stripped before it uploads.
- Choose 48, 108 or 192 piecesEveryone gets the identical cut and starting scatter, so times compare directly.
- Share the linkSend it by Messages or any chat. Friends play free, and the race board ranks finishers over 24 hours.

How do I turn a photo into a jigsaw puzzle?
In Jigsaw Rally, open Races and start a new Custom Race. Choose a photo from your library, crop it to the 3:4 frame, pick 48, 108 or 192 pieces, and share the invite link. Everyone you invite gets the same cut.
Is making a photo puzzle free?
Creating a photo puzzle race needs Jigsaw Rally Pro, $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year in the US. Everyone you invite plays free, and the Daily and Weekly Rally are free for everyone.
How big does my photo need to be?
About 1200 × 1600 pixels for 48 pieces, 2100 × 2800 for 108 and 2400 × 3200 for 192. Photos from a recent iPhone, taken in portrait, work at every size. Sizes a photo can't support are grayed out.
Who can see my photo?
Anyone with the invite link can open the race and see the photo, so only share it with people you'd show the photo to. The app strips location and other metadata before uploading. You can ask us to delete a race's photo and results any time.
Can kids play?
Yes. 48 pieces is a friendly size for younger players, there are no ads and no chat, and on a child's account a Pro purchase goes through Apple's Ask to Buy.
Can I order a printed cardboard puzzle?
No. Jigsaw Rally makes digital jigsaw puzzles you solve on iPhone and iPad, built for racing friends and family on the same cut.
